The role of Employer Agent or EA as it’s often referred to, has become more important in recent years, due to the increase in use of design and build procurement within the construction industry.

Design, budget, risk and time brief analysis and optimisation including the formulation of project Key Performance Indicators
Coordination of the pre-contract design team, reports, surveys and consultants
Preparation of a cost plan, plus regular key stage cost reviews
Managing the project timetable and risk register
Preparation of the Employer’s Requirements including contract particulars
Management of competitive / negotiated tendering processes
Evaluation of Contractor’s Proposals and production of tender (value for money) reports
Appointment of the contractor and preparation of building contracts
